Eastimage, a security inspection equipment manufacturer based in Shanghai, has completed factory acceptance and shipped three units of EI-10080 X-ray baggage scanners to Courier company in Colombia.
Shanghai Eastimage Equipment Co., Ltd. recently shipped a batch of EI-10080 large-tunnel X-ray inspection systems to Colombia on 2026.11.02. The 3 units are intended for a local express and logistics company to enhance parcel security screening and improve operational efficiency. This project demonstrates Eastimage's commitment to providing reliable security inspection solutions for the global logistics industry.
Before shipment, all equipment underwent comprehensive factory inspections and quality control procedures. The systems were professionally packaged and transported to Colombia via sea, ensuring safe delivery. 2. EI-10080: Advanced X-Ray Inspection Technology
The EI-10080 features a large inspection tunnel measuring 1020 mm × 810 mm, making it suitable for oversized parcels and bulky packages. Equipped with a 160 kV X-ray generator and advanced multi-energy imaging technology, the system provides clear inspection images and assists operators in identifying suspicious items and prohibited materials.
With a conveyor load capacity of up to 200 kg and a standard conveyor speed of 0.2 m/s, the EI-10080 is designed for demanding logistics environments. Its image enhancement, continuous zoom, and high-density material alarm functions further improve inspection efficiency. The system is suitable for express delivery centers, logistics hubs, sorting facilities, and cargo terminals handling high volumes of parcels.
Before delivery, all EI-10080 systems completed 72 hours of aging tests to verify operational stability. Inspection procedures covered X-ray generator performance, conveyor operation, image quality, material identification, safety interlocks, emergency stop functions, radiation leakage, and electrical system stability.
All 3 units successfully passed factory acceptance inspections and met the required quality standards. The equipment is expected to help the Colombian logistics operator improve parcel screening efficiency, strengthen security management, and reduce potential risks associated with manual inspection.
